About Wordsprig

Wordsprig is a set of free helpers for word games: a word unscrambler, an anagram solver, a Wordle solver, a Scrabble and Words With Friends word finder, a word checker, a crossword pattern finder, browsable word lists and Scrabble strategy lists, and free word games: Wordle Unlimited, Word Search, Hangman, Spelling Bee and Boggle.

All searches run in your browser against the ENABLE (Enhanced North American Benchmark Lexicon) word list, a public-domain list of about 173,000 English words that many word games accept. It is not the official tournament dictionary of any game, so a word that is valid here may occasionally be rejected by a particular game, and the other way round.

Point values follow the standard English tile sets. Puzzle answers in the games are drawn from common words (SCOWL) so you are never asked for something obscure. Game progress and stats are kept only in your browser. We are not affiliated with Hasbro, Mattel, Zynga or The New York Times.
